Are Church Leaders Fighting The Condom Or Sex???...
I still cannot understand what the hullabaloo is all about with the condom
advert. My view, that advert makes a lot of sense. The makers of the
advert are realistic and admitting that married people are having illicit sex
or enjoying the forbidden fruits outside of their matrimonial homes.
What I construed from the advert is that the woman is not having her nocturnal exercises at home and hence her need
to keep a side dish to provide those essential services. Am sure there are many valid
reasons in homes that are driving couples to leave their matrimonial beds. That,
I think is what the church leaders should be addressing, not the sheath they
choose for protection. We need to know why respectable men/women feel the need
to quench their thirst away from home. And the best people to furnish us, with
that information is the church leaders because they are the ones who do counseling
to these couples.
Church leaders should think of how to address the sex subject rather
than condemn the condom advert wholesomely. Actually the only individuals who are ashamed of talking about condoms are the church
leaders. Their church members seem to be okay with using condoms and talking about
them.
What the church leaders should tell us is how they are handling the pandemic
of married people eating forbidden fruits away from home. And they should
actually be grateful because they can use the advert as preamble to the terrifying
sex topic.
Come to think of it do church leaders even know how to put on a condom by
any chance! Or are they fighting the unknown due to fear.
A helmet is supposed to protect a biker in case of an accident, just like a
condom will come in handy when a married person who cannot help it, wants to go
for a for a ride.
Give us a break!
