Women are dangerous….

My opinion is that men get more emotionally involved with a woman when they have sex than women do. Why is that, this days we read so many stories in the media of women involved in extra marital affairs and the only way a woman is caught, is when the husband engages the services of a medicine man/woman to catch his unfaithful wife. Now if a woman can have an affair and she is not caught or does not betray herself that can only mean they do not get emotionally involved and they know how to separate issues. That is why I am forwarding a thought that women can have sex with no strings attached and not even feel guilty about it which makes them very dangerous. Men because they do not understand women or maybe because women cry easily decided to call them the weaker sex. That statement I think works against men because they drop their guard since they are dealing with a weaker sex who cries easily, and that is why men are easily manipulated. Every time you are dealing with...

Just Insert The Correct Consonant and Shut Up…

After learning to speak English fluently and correctly people graduate to something that is very infuriating. In Kenya we all come from different cultures which are usually identified with a certain characteristic especially when speaking English and let us all bear in mind this is a foreign dialect. What usually happens, there is a tendency to replace the correct consonant in a word with a wrong consonant or making a certain letter silent. For example the letter L in a word is replaced with letter R and vice versa, others put letter H where it is not supposed to be and make it silent where it is supposed to be sounded, others replace letter V with letter P and vice versa and the list goes on and on.                                                ...

Some Organs Don’t Get Annoyed…

A good friend told me the best advice an elderly woman gave her when she was getting married is that “some organs don’t get annoyed”. According to my kikuyu culture there is a saying that “ mundu mugi ndare muhere wa uhoro ” loosely translated a wise person does not need a lot of explanations they read between the lines and draw an informed conclusion. The Psalmist also says “… So teach us to number our days …” (90:12). What in short the elderly lady was telling my friend is, when at some point in their marriage they disagree as a couple and then the husband wants to go for morning glory sessions she should not deny him his conjugal rights. And remember the scripture also tells couples “… Do not deny yourselves to each other, unless you first agree to do so…” 1 Cor 7:5. That is what the elderly lady meant that even when you are so livid to always remember that some parts of your body did not get annoyed. What we need to understand is that we waste a lot of valuable time g...

Men you need women more even the bible says so…

I have always wondered what bloats men’s egos so much, to the extent that they feel obligated to turn their women into punching bags.                                                                                                                                            If a man measures his str...

Long and Short call…

As am always saying some of these terms that we were taught in lower primary do not make sense. Seriously! Queen Elizabeth since we learnt your English. For example “please teacher may I go for a short call...” and what was fascinating, we were taught that there was short and long call, yet only expected to use the short call sentence while seeking permission to visit the toilet. Okay. Am not blaming the queen, our teachers can also take some blame but on the other hand they were also taught the same, so we blame the queen and her teachers. I think the wisdom of short and long call comes from the assumption that when one goes to 'pee' they do not take a lot of time emptying the bladder. But I beg to differ there are times when you are so pressed by that short call, you are forced to take few minutes before the muscles  relax and the tap opens. As compared to the long call where, when pressed everything is just ready to come out you just sit on the toilet se...
