Donate The Organs Where You Are Going You Will Not Need Them….



Christians want to go to heaven but nobody wants to die yet that is the only way to heaven, if you are not lucky enough to be airlifted there like Elijah. Although with God anything is possible since he did not say only Elijah could get a lift to heaven. It is okay to keep an open mind and have faith. If it could happen to Elijah who was flesh and blood the same could happen to you and since it happened once it could happen again. Just have faith…

I have been thinking since human beings do not want to think of being dead and buried they want to live forever, a better way to ensure you are in the world for ever and ensuring you will never be buried, is going the science way. Science has come up with a way of ensuring that the world makes provision for you to be useful even when the soul has left the body. The Christian bible says “no matter how long you live, remember that you will be dead much longer” Eccl 11:8.

Am sure by one you can deduce I am a good African with all this beating around the bush. What a nice way of making use of your body even when you are dead than donating your body to be used in a medical class or donating your organs before you die for harvesting so that they can help someone else and include a clause in your will that says even the person who benefits from your organs will also donate them before they die. Besides, since you will be dead much longer why feed the worms rather than remain on earth and be useful. And in the first place remember you did not want to die. When you donate your eyes, heart and other organs you continue living in the person who you were gracious enough to give a second chance.

What is wrong with letting the prospective medical students dissect you? I mean, you spent the better part of your stay on earth covering God’s creation because society expected you to be modest but in your death you can let others appreciate that beauty, at the same time you are ensuring that they will not kill your living relatives on the operating table because you were generous enough to let them experiment on you. And when they finally are done, your skeleton will continue being a teaching tool in a biology class. What a better way to be useful in death if you never did anything significant when you were living.

For once in your life be selfless and allow people to use your body without asking us to acknowledge you and threatening to sue us for plagiarism. Be selfless in your death besides the soul will have left you, of what use will the shell be to you give it up for the benefit of others. On resurrection day, you not need the organs.

Luo is a Romantic Language…

In my short or long stay on this earth I have had the privilege of interacting with many of the languages spoken in Kenya and one dialect I would say has stood out and I have come to love is the Luo dialect. The dialect according to me is very romantic; it should actually be classified among the others of the world which are regarded as romantic. The way their words flow, as they speak, one has no option but to enjoy listening. This is a language, firstly the words rhyme so well with English language; secondly a word can be used in so many instances until one gets confused. Masaku sevens ….I hear it was a show to behold….

I have really been thinking a lot about what I hear happened during Masaku 7’s. And mind you though being in Machakos on that day I got home early before all the free live movies started. So I just heard just like some of you. No wonder people say free things are not good. In one way or the other let us be glad it happened now in broad day light the last time Masaku sevens was in Machakos the young people were discreet they did their mating in the darkness where their parents could not see them and the consequences of what happened at night were visible the following morning with the littering of their implements of trade.
