The Act of Sex is Unclean…
...Although the act of sex is definitely a loving gift from a loving God for humanity, it is interesting to note how the bible interprets it in relation to worship. What is shocking is, this lovely gift apparently one cannot have it and worship at the same time since it’s unclean for example Ex. 19:10 …when God informs Moses to tell the people of Israel to get ready for worship one of the  prerequisite for worship was abstinence from sex. Moses said “…be ready by the day after tomorrow and don’t have sexual intercourse in the meantime…”

Lev 15:16-18 “…when a man has an emission of semen he must bath his whole body he is unclean. After sexual intercourse both the man and the woman must have a bath…” Lev 22:4 “…any priest is unclean if he touches an emission of semen…” 
Deut 23:10 “...if a man becomes unclean because he has a wet dreams during the night, he is to go outside the camp and stay there towards the evening he is to wash himself and at sunset he may come back into camp…” I wonder if men have control of wet dreams…

2 Sam 11:11- Uriah refuses to go home and sleep with his wife “… how could I go home, eat and drink and sleep with my wife? By all that’s sacred, I swear that I could never do such a thing…” 1 Sam 21:5 “… I have no ordinary bread on hand only holy bread; if the men have abstained from women, you may eat some of that…”

No wonder Jesus said “…it is what comes out of a person that makes him unclean...” Mk. 7:15. Why, is the woman is declared unclean and she receives the semen…or is it because as the semen is coming out it’s already unclean. If that is the case even the product thereof is unclean….

Sooo... what is unclean the sex or the fluids?…, Can’t figure it out….

I still cannot understand what the hullabaloo is all about with the condom advert. My view, that advert makes a lot of sense. The makers of the advert are realistic and admitting that married people are having illicit sex or enjoying the forbidden fruits outside of their matrimonial homes. What I construed from the advert is that the woman is not having her nocturnal exercises at home and hence her need to keep a side dish to provide  those essential services. Am sure there are many valid reasons in homes that are driving couples to leave their matrimonial beds. That, I think is what the church leaders should be addressing, not the sheath they choose for protection. We need to know why respectable men/women feel the need to quench their thirst away from home. And the best people to furnish us, with that information is the church leaders because they are the ones who do counseling to these couples. Luo is a Romantic Language…

In my short or long stay on this earth I have had the privilege of interacting with many of the languages spoken in Kenya and one dialect I would say has stood out and I have come to love is the Luo dialect. The dialect according to me is very romantic; it should actually be classified among the others of the world which are regarded as romantic. The way their words flow, as they speak, one has no option but to enjoy listening. This is a language, firstly the words rhyme so well with English language; secondly a word can be used in so many instances until one gets confused. Take for example the now common words ‘ Gini Wesikawo ” when these words were spoken by supporters of one team who were shouting to the supporters of the opposing team, even before a football match was over that they have taken the trophy the same words have now evolved or transformed until they are featuring in adverts as a way of bidding us goodbye. Masaku sevens ….I hear it was a show to behold….

I have really been thinking a lot about what I hear happened during Masaku 7’s. And mind you though being in Machakos on that day I got home early before all the free live movies started. So I just heard just like some of you. No wonder people say free things are not good. In one way or the other let us be glad it happened now in broad day light the last time Masaku sevens was in Machakos the young people were discreet they did their mating in the darkness where their parents could not see them and the consequences of what happened at night were visible the following morning with the littering of their implements of trade.
