Women Natural is good…

Some of us are tomboys by nature (if such a thing exists) even though once in a while we try to look feminine but we are comfortable just being casual. But sometimes we dress up, in the spirit of being in touch with the feminine side. One day I took a friend to high tech salon in Nairobi, where you find male hairdressers, beauticians and it was a lovely sight to behold, seeing men at work making women beautiful, it was adorable. Now when we entered everyone especially the ones who specialize with eyebrows started harassing my friend who is their regular client to convince me to have them work on my eyebrows, but I declined reason being I do not see the reason of shaving my eyebrows only to replace them with an eye pencil, that does not make sense to me. But when I get a revelation I will definitely let them shred my eyebrows. My fellow ladies please help me understand why you would prefer to use eye pencil instead of having your God given eye brows. Well. I have ...

Men your pregnancy is not amusing…

This condition of male pregnancy has many names. Public opinion, pot , ka-pot (small belly) or ki-pot (big belly) Men loose the pot! It is not funny and it not a pretty sight to behold. Who deceived you and especially the young guys that a pot is fashionable, I mean guys below 25 years old looking very pregnant. And I think it is a tread that is cropping up of young men when God blesses them and they land a nice job the next thing they think about is eating junk food and alcohol until they get a ka-pot . Horrible! I think Mr. Nderitu, the Chairman of Maendeleo ya wanaume has great task of helping these new generation of men, who when God blesses them and their pockets become loaded with cash that they should respect their bodies. The last time I heard of Mr. Nderitu he was giving women red cards for mutilating their men. And come to think of it when I saw him on the TV he himself did not look pregnant, that means he is taking care of his body. Doesn’t he care for this ...

There is only one Jeff Koinange

…One reason I do not enjoy listening to K24 male newscasters is because they are all competing to sound like Jeff Koinange.   And now, I beg to be pardoned since I am talking from a point of ignorance. I have never worked at K24 and am not famous enough to rub shoulders with these presenters so that I can judge if that is how they speak in real life. And I do not know if it is one of the requirements for male anchors to get a job at K24 that one has to sound like Jeff. I am making my observations based only on what I hear when they are reading the news. I like the branding of K24 and am sure I would enjoy listening to their bulletins was it not for those irritating things that the guys do of copying another journalist rather than creating their own space. I have always thought men are comfortable in their own skin and they love being original and unique but the breed of male anchors at K24 lack creativity.   Am also disappointed with K24 bosses, why are they not d...

Behold a Gentlemen….

This term can only apply to men. I do not think women are gentle. Women are not gentle and especially when pushed to the wall or when they get to appoint where they are forced to defend what they treasure, a woman will have no issue embarrassing you and especially if she is fed up with you. Men on the other hand who are termed as gentlemen are people who are so dishonest and who pretend not to see anything or hear anything. Why do I say that, gentlemen cannot tell you the truth about anything because they do not want to hurt your feelings, if a gentleman sees something wrong with you they cannot correct it. For example if you are dining with a gentleman and after finishing your meal and/or by bad luck a food particle gets stuck on your teeth, a gentleman will not even hint that you have something on your teeth, they would rather persevere the sight of your imperfection than correct it.    When a gentleman’s girlfriend or wife gets annoyed and throws a tantrum ...

Hon. Bishop. Doc. Wanjiru… remember your beginnings…

This is days I think my eyes are deceiving me or my ears are hearing their own things or my TV is broadcasting it's own things. Because I could not believe what I saw on Sunday evening news. I all over a sudden got a vulgar feeling when I saw Hon.Bishop.Doc Wanjiru announcing her desire to vie for Governor of Nairobi seat to what seemed like in the mid of a worship service and am still getting the same feeling every time I remember seeing her on the pulpit making the announcement. I think am still in denial, I want to believe it did not happen. I want to blame my television. Bishop are you serious you are using God’s platform to announce your political aspirations. Why not learn to separate issues. Why do you want to share a platform with God? God brings people together for worship and you use that, as your campaign platform? That was very bad. Bishop remember when you were announcing your desire to vie for Starehe seat , you did it outside the church and the doors of...
