YOUNG GIRLS! When it freezes stop shining…



I think our young women have issues. They are so obsessed with shining they sometimes forget to check the weather or even carry something in their bags to keep them warm just in case. And considering how they are carrying huge handbags they have no excuse for not including something to keep them warm. Some of these bags interestingly are so huge they can carry a baby inside.

Or do they arrogantly decide not carry something warm just so that they can test how much their boyfriend loves them and to see if he will lovingly give up his jacket. Sweetie! that is a poor way of testing love, the poor dude is also a human being and he feels cold too. If I was your boyfriend, I would let you freeze. Because, it is you responsibility to take care of yourself, if you did not know it.

You walk on the streets and see a girl wearing a miniskirt and a very thin blouse and that time it is freezing. You look at the girl and she is clearly very cold because apart from having goose pimples the skin looks like it does not have color. Imagine when you are wearing warm clothes and enjoying the warm feeling, someone else is pretending that it is not cold.

Girls seriously the boys and men you may be trying to impress believe in dressing warmly when it is cold, at least learn from them? If you forgot what your parents taught you about keeping warm during the cold seasons.

Girls! God gave you a brain so that you can make loving decisions about yourself first and foremost, before you even think of some else.

It’s actually biblical…

I still cannot understand what the hullabaloo is all about with the condom advert. My view, that advert makes a lot of sense. The makers of the advert are realistic and admitting that married people are having illicit sex or enjoying the forbidden fruits outside of their matrimonial homes. What I construed from the advert is that the woman is not having her nocturnal exercises at home and hence her need to keep a side dish to provide  those essential services. Luo is a Romantic Language…

In my short or long stay on this earth I have had the privilege of interacting with many of the languages spoken in Kenya and one dialect I would say has stood out and I have come to love is the Luo dialect. The dialect according to me is very romantic; it should actually be classified among the others of the world which are regarded as romantic. The way their words flow, as they speak, one has no option but to enjoy listening. This is a language, firstly the words rhyme so well with English language; secondly a word can be used in so many instances until one gets confused. Take for example the now common words ‘ Gini Wesikawo ” when these words were spoken by supporters of one team who were shouting to the supporters of the opposing team, even before a football match was over that they have taken the trophy the same words have now evolved or transformed until they are featuring in adverts as a way of bidding us goodbye. Masaku sevens ….I hear it was a show to behold….

I have really been thinking a lot about what I hear happened during Masaku 7’s. And mind you though being in Machakos on that day I got home early before all the free live movies started. So I just heard just like some of you. No wonder people say free things are not good. In one way or the other let us be glad it happened now in broad day light the last time Masaku sevens was in Machakos the young people were discreet they did their mating in the darkness where their parents could not see them and the consequences of what happened at night were visible the following morning with the littering of their implements of trade.
