Futile trying to understand humankind…


I cannot visualize having a roommate who wants to eat me. Imagine! The whole time that I am in their presence they are just salivating and until eventually they cannot resist it and they just eat me! Horrible… If we had not read about it and seen pictures, we could have just assumed those are just the many folk tales that our grandmothers used to narrate of handsome men who would attend the village dance and since they were the best dancers the beautiful girls in the village would fall in love with them. And when allowed to marry them, they would take them to their homes in faraway lands and then the handsome men would turn into man eating ogres.

One thing I cannot also understand is why people are seeking permission to have sex? We do not see heterosexuals going round campaigning and announcing that want to have sex or am having sex these days. But lesbians and gays want us to give them permission to do it; they want us to know that they are also having sex.

Now, if you go to the house and to do it quietly nobody cares or we will not know because there is nothing that will gives you a way, or suggest that you are sexually active. It is not like you have power switch when it’s on we all know you are on heat (for lack of a better word to describe human beings when they want sex) and when switched off you are off sex.

What is so unique about being a lesbian or homosexual? That you have to insist we all know you exist, do your thing quietly and the public will not care. The reason people target you and want to kill you is because you flaunt it to African cultures that have not even accepted empowerment of women. And you want the same African cultures to be understanding and accept you, my friends, since you are going to wait for a long time before that day to come. Learn from heterosexuals they have their illicit sex quietly they only get caught when a jealous spouse decides to visit a medicine man/woman and pays him/her to treat the unfaithful spouse in absentia

I propose you do your thing quietly and pray that God forgives you eventually because he speaks strongly against that kind of sexual orientation.

I still cannot understand what the hullabaloo is all about with the condom advert. My view, that advert makes a lot of sense. The makers of the advert are realistic and admitting that married people are having illicit sex or enjoying the forbidden fruits outside of their matrimonial homes. What I construed from the advert is that the woman is not having her nocturnal exercises at home and hence her need to keep a side dish to provide  those essential services. Am sure there are many valid reasons in homes that are driving couples to leave their matrimonial beds. That, I think is what the church leaders should be addressing, not the sheath they choose for protection. We need to know why respectable men/women feel the need to quench their thirst away from home. Luo is a Romantic Language…

In my short or long stay on this earth I have had the privilege of interacting with many of the languages spoken in Kenya and one dialect I would say has stood out and I have come to love is the Luo dialect. The dialect according to me is very romantic; it should actually be classified among the others of the world which are regarded as romantic. The way their words flow, as they speak, one has no option but to enjoy listening. This is a language, firstly the words rhyme so well with English language; secondly a word can be used in so many instances until one gets confused. Take for example the now common words ‘ Gini Wesikawo ” when these words were spoken by supporters of one team who were shouting to the supporters of the opposing team, even before a football match was over that they have taken the trophy the same words have now evolved or transformed until they are featuring in adverts as a way of bidding us goodbye. Masaku sevens ….I hear it was a show to behold….

I have really been thinking a lot about what I hear happened during Masaku 7’s. And mind you though being in Machakos on that day I got home early before all the free live movies started. So I just heard just like some of you. No wonder people say free things are not good. In one way or the other let us be glad it happened now in broad day light the last time Masaku sevens was in Machakos the young people were discreet they did their mating in the darkness where their parents could not see them and the consequences of what happened at night were visible the following morning with the littering of their implements of trade.
